30-Hour Funded Childcare
Eligible working families in England may apply for 30 hours of funded childcare. To check your eligibility and apply, please visit:
👉 30 hours childcare for eligible working families in England | Childcare Choices
At Parkside Academy Baby Room, a full day runs from 8:45am to 3:15pm. Families can also opt to add breakfast and/or afterschool club sessions for an additional charge.
Children staying for the full day will receive lunchtime provision free of charge, meaning that children accessing their 30-hour entitlement will benefit from almost 33 hours per week of care and learning at no extra cost.
During lunchtime, parents are asked to provide a packed lunch.
15-Hour Funded Childcare
For families who are not eligible for the 30-hour entitlement, or those who choose to use fewer hours, we also offer the universal 15-hour entitlement. Parents can choose either morning or afternoon sessions, and may also purchase additional sessions beyond their 15-hour allocation.
If you have any questions or would like support with your application, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Uniform is optional and can be purchased from Identity. Children are welcome to wear a navy blue romper or a grey zip-up hoodie, or they may choose to wear their own clothing
Children’s development is guided by their individual interests, and we build on this foundation through a strong emphasis on language development, sensory exploration, social growth, and physical development. Here is our curriculum, in which we use to support your child.
Each child is supported by their own Key Person, who begins building a strong, trusting relationship with your child from day one.
We share your child’s development and milestones with you daily through our online learning journal, Tapestry. In addition, we maintain ongoing communication with parents via your child’s home-to-school book, ensuring you’re always connected to their day.
